2024 UNESCO Poland Fellowship Programme.

The UNESCO Poland Fellowship was established to promote human resource capacities in developing countries and enhance international understanding and friendship among nations. The program is a 6-month internship program that offers selected beneficiaries living expenses, accommodation, free tuition, and access to the university facilities. The UNESCO Poland Fellowship will last for 6 months and take place at the AGH University of Krakow, UNESCO AGH Chair (A. Mickiewicza Ave 30, PL 30-059 Krakow, Poland).

The UNESCO Poland Fellowship Program is a collaborative initiative between UNESCO and the Government of Poland aimed at promoting international cooperation and capacity-building in various fields of study. This fellowship program offers opportunities for researchers, academics, and professionals from developing countries to undertake advanced studies, research projects, and training programs in Poland.

The fellowship program covers a wide range of academic disciplines and fields of study, including natural sciences, social sciences, humanities, engineering, and cultural heritage preservation. Participants have the opportunity to pursue research projects, attend specialized courses and workshops, and collaborate with leading Polish institutions and experts in their respective fields.

One of the key objectives of the UNESCO Poland Fellowship Program is to enhance the knowledge and skills of participants through hands-on experience and academic exchange. Fellows have access to state-of-the-art facilities, libraries, laboratories, and research centers at Polish universities and research institutions, allowing them to conduct cutting-edge research and engage in interdisciplinary collaboration.

In addition to academic activities, fellows may also have the opportunity to participate in cultural and social events, language courses, and field trips, providing them with a rich and immersive experience of Polish culture, history, and society. These opportunities help foster cross-cultural understanding, dialogue, and cooperation among participants and their Polish counterparts.

The UNESCO Poland Fellowship Program is open to qualified candidates from UNESCO Member States, particularly those from developing countries with limited access to educational and research opportunities. Applicants are typically required to hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field and demonstrate proficiency in the English or Polish language, depending on the language of instruction at the host institution.

The UNESCO Poland Fellowship Program serves as a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, capacity-building, and international cooperation in support of UNESCO’s mandate to promote peace, social inclusion, and sustainable development through education, science, and culture. By providing fellows with the opportunity to advance their academic and professional goals in Poland, the fellowship program contributes to building a more inclusive and equitable global knowledge society.
