The African German Young Leaders in Business (AGYLE) Program is an initiative aimed at fostering long-term business networking between young leaders from Africa and Germany. The program facilitates direct encounters and partnership-based exchanges between selected African countries and Germany, with the goal of promoting the development of innovative ideas and projects and laying the foundation for sustainable economic cooperation.

The AGYLE Program brings together young leaders from various sectors, including business, entrepreneurship, academia, and civil society, to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and collaborate on joint initiatives. Participants represent countries such as Ethiopia, Ghana, Rwanda, Senegal, Tunisia, and Germany, reflecting the program’s diverse and inclusive approach to fostering cross-cultural dialogue and collaboration.

One of the key objectives of the AGYLE Program is to create a platform for young leaders to explore opportunities for business development, investment, and partnership between Africa and Germany. By connecting emerging leaders with established professionals and experts, the program seeks to facilitate the transfer of knowledge, skills, and resources, thereby contributing to economic growth and development in both regions.

The AGYLE Program is implemented by the Agency for Business & Economic Development (AWE) in collaboration with Germany – Land of Ideas. AWE is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and receives support from organizations such as GIZ and DEG Impulse.

The AGYLE Program plays a crucial role in fostering closer ties between Africa and Germany and promoting sustainable economic cooperation through youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
