Zhejiang University, under the MOE’s authority, is now accepting applications for full-time postgraduate studies for the 2024 Chinese Government Scholarship – Chinese University Program.
Coverage (Full Scholarship):
Tuition waiver, free on-campus accommodation, stipend, comprehensive medical insurance, among other benefits.
Duration: 3-4 years for doctoral students, 2-3 years for master’s students.

Applications submitted through Zhejiang University’s Online Application System for International Students.
Application Fee:
RMB 800 yuan (non-refundable).
Must be paid through Zhejiang University’s online application system before the deadline.
Eligibility:
Applicants must meet Zhejiang University’s postgraduate admissions criteria.
Welcoming applicants with degrees from Top 500 World Universities or Zhejiang University’s overseas partner universities.
Application Materials:
Submission via CSC Online Application System for Study in China.
Required documents include the Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship, Foreigner Physical Examination Form, and Non-Criminal Record Certificate.
Review and Notification:
Selection based on research ability, academic performance, language proficiency, and video interview.
Name list sent to China Scholarship Council for review; results notified by end of July or beginning of August 2024.
Important Notes:
Scholarship students must undergo an Annual Review.
No changes allowed in institutions, academic programs, or study duration specified in the Admission Notice.
Students who suspend studies due to illness must cover travel expenses; scholarship status reserved for one year at most.
