Key Responsibilities
As a Female Care Professional, you will provide personalized care to female clients, which may include:
- Assisting with personal care (e.g., bathing, dressing, toileting).
- Administering medication.
- Preparing meals and assisting with feeding.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Supporting with outings and activities.
- Helping clients get ready for the day and settling in at night.
Job Duties of a Female Care Professional
- Conduct personal care tasks with dignity and professionalism.
- Monitor clients’ well-being and report any changes to management.
- Support clients with mobility and physical activity.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment for clients.
Requirements
- Clear DBS check.
- Two references.
- Previous experience in healthcare (domiciliary care, residential care, or support work) is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided.
- Must be reliable, empathetic, and able to work with professionalism and discretion.
Skills and Knowledge Needed
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Knowledge of safe handling techniques and personal care protocols.
- Basic understanding of medication administration (training provided).
Education and Certification Required
- No formal qualifications are required, but experience in healthcare or related fields is advantageous.
- Willingness to undergo and complete training in health and social care.
