Full Job Description
The Wells Road Centre is dedicated to providing Low Secure Inpatient Services for adult men and women with mental illness, personality disorders, or intellectual disabilities.
As a Healthcare Support Assistant, your responsibilities include:
- Supporting service users as part of their care team and attending regular meetings with the named nurse or multidisciplinary team (MDT).
- Assisting with daily living activities and addressing both physical and mental health care needs.
- Undertaking, recording, and reporting clinical observations as directed by registered professionals.
- Assisting with inpatient treatments and activities, which may include escorting patients outside the ward.
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records, ensuring the safe custody of healthcare records.
- Treating patients as individuals and fostering their independence.
- Performing any other duties reasonable within the role’s scope.
