Job Overview
As a Healthcare Assistant at KMPT, you will:
- Deliver patient-focused care to promote optimum independence.
- Support in-patients experiencing acute mental health challenges during their stay.
- Engage patients in therapeutic activities to enhance their well-being.
- Provide physical health care and conduct checks using the NEWS2 system, reporting any changes to the nurse or healthcare professional in charge.
- Assist with day-to-day tasks allocated by the nursing team.
- You’ll adopt a flexible working pattern and have access to excellent self-development and training opportunities, including NVQs and the Health Care Worker Certificate.
