About the Role
As an Advanced Social Worker, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing professional leadership and supervision to team members.
- Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including community nursing, therapy services, and other healthcare professionals.
- Leading and influencing practice change to deliver outstanding outcomes for older adults, adults with physical or learning disabilities, and their families.
- Supporting the Team Manager in operational and practice-related tasks.
- Championing evidence-based practice and sharing advanced decision-making expertise.
This position offers the opportunity to work across beautiful and diverse geographical areas such as Braunton, Lynton/Lynmouth, Ilfracombe, and South Molton.
About You
We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and forward-thinking Social Worker who:
- Holds a degree in Social Work and is registered with Social Work England.
- Has substantial post-qualifying experience in social work practice.
- Possesses a strong understanding of professional theories, frameworks, and regulations.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience in mentoring or coaching colleagues.
- Is passionate about promoting independence, wellbeing, and human rights.
