Supported by Mercedes-Benz, the beVisioneers initiative is tailored for passionate young innovators eager to drive positive environmental change, irrespective of their academic background, cultural ties, or financial circumstances. This fellowship empowers individuals by providing essential training, funding, and expert guidance necessary to transform their planet-positive projects or ideas into impactful realities.
Designed and implemented by The DO School Fellowships and funded by Mercedes-Benz, beVisioneers: The Mercedes-Benz Fellowship launched in 2024 to equip thousands of young people around the world with the tools and resources to implement environmental projects for a sustainable planet. In its first year, we launched with over 100 Fellows, our second cohort expanded to 500 Fellows in 2024 and we are now expanding to include 1000 young eco-entrepreneurs across Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, and South America for the 2025 cohort.
Upon successfully completing the intensive 12-month program, participants join the esteemed beVisioneers Ambassador Program. This membership provides exclusive opportunities to expand networks, amplify influence, and further extend the impact of their sustainability endeavors. Whether aiming to make a difference locally or on a global scale, the beVisioneers Fellowship serves as a catalyst for nurturing and advancing planet-positive ideas into impactful solutions.
The Mercedes-Benz beVisioneers Fellowship is a program dedicated to nurturing young innovators who are passionate about driving positive environmental change. The fellowship is structured as a 12-month intensive hybrid-learning program, supported by Mercedes-Benz and facilitated by The DO School Fellowships. It emphasizes hands-on implementation of sustainability projects, providing participants with essential training, funding, and expert guidance required to actualize their initiatives.
The program operates within specific sustainability zones, such as Food Waste or Clean Water, tailoring support to align with the challenges faced in these areas. This strategic approach aims to amplify the impact of the projects while encouraging localization efforts for broader and more significant sustainability outcomes.

Eligibility Requirements For The Mercedes-Benz beVisioneers Fellowship
To apply, first make sure you fit the profile:
- 16-28 years old at the time of application
- You are a resident of one of the following countries or regions: the EU, India, Kenya, Mexico, South Africa, South Korea, Switzerland Uganda, United Kingdom and USA.
- Your project is implemented in one or several of those countries
Program Components
A unique & collaborative framework
beVisioneers directs its attention to distinct sustainability domains such as Food Waste or Clean Water, strategically aligning Fellows’ ideas and projects with these focused areas to confront challenges effectively within a 12-month timeframe. The program ensures that participants receive tailored support and resources necessary to address these specific sustainability zones.
Encouraging projects to operate in close proximity fosters alignment with broader initiatives on localization, enabling the amplification of their impact. This approach facilitates a concentrated effort in addressing these critical sustainability issues, contributing to more significant and effective outcomes.
Our Three Learning Labs
The program will focus on three different learning labs over 12 months:
Personal sustainability, focused on your individual and collective leadership, well-being and resilience.
Environmental Sustainability, focused on your knowledge and application of planet-positive concepts and practices.
Venture sustainability, focused on your entrepreneurial mindsets and skills to turn ideas into action.
Regional & Global Summits
You will get a chance to meet other Fellows face-to-face at our regional summits.
During these summits you will hear from industry experts.
There will also be a chance to attend a global summit, which will include pitch competitions and opportunities to win funding for your project.
