Responsibilities
- Change diapers and tend to infants and young children
- Take full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning tasks
- Shop for food and household items as needed
- Wash, iron, and press clothing and linens
- Discipline children as per the parents’ instructions
- Teach children personal hygiene and social skills
- Keep records of children’s daily activities and health information
- Maintain a safe and healthy home environment
- Organize engaging activities, such as games and outings
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals for the children
- Prepare children for rest periods
- Supervise and care for children, including taking them to school and appointments
- Support children’s emotional well-being and assist with homework
Requirements
- Languages: English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
