Responsibilities
- Administer bedside and personal care
- Administer medications as directed
- Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene needs
- Facilitate regular exercise activities, such as walking
- Change non-sterile dressings
- Collect specimens as required
- Assist with feeding and meal preparation
- Launder clothing and household linens
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Plan and prepare therapeutic diets and menus
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Shop for food and household supplies
- Cook and serve nutritious meals
Requirements
- Languages: English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
