We have full and part time community visiting available in Vancouver with many different positions / time frames available.
Full time home to home care is available for days 7-3 and afternoons 3-11. Part time is available for days, afternoons and nights 11-7 for both home to home care and 1 client for 8 hours in their home.
All positions require working every other weekend both Saturday and Sunday. We do also have a full time weekend warrior line for days and afternoons, schedule would be Friday Monday each week.
A drivers licence (7N or 5) a vehicle and insurance is a requirement for this role.
Full time staff received a $50 monthly phone allowance and are eligible for benefits after 3months. Part time staff receive a $25 monthly phone allowance.
Staring pay is $29 / hour and we do pay 40 cents / km between clients for home to home care only.
Requirements :
Vulnerable Sector Police Check in the last 5 years
- Must have CHW or HCA certificate and be registered in good standing with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
- CPR certificate
- TB test results from within 1 year or chest x-ray from within 2 years
- Must be double vaccinated for COVID
- Drivers licence (7N or 5) a vehicle and insurance
Responsibilities : Assisting clients with all aspects of daily living, food preparation and / or assistance with feeding as required, light housekeeping such as : dishes, folding laundry etc.
