MatrixHR is currently recruiting experienced Welders for a client located in southeast Calgary, AB. This is an ongoing, full-time position within the Manufacturing department, specializing in MIG and Flux Core welding of gauge metal and light structural parts.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Welder will be responsible for MIG and Flux Core welding on gauge metal and light structural parts, while ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained.
Start Date: As Soon As Possible
Wage: $38.00/hour (negotiable)
Placement: Full-time, Monday to Friday (overtime available)
Responsibilities:
Weld gauge metal and light structural parts using MIG and Flux Core processes.
Perform fitting of fabricated parts.
Use torch and plasma cutting equipment.
Prepare and fabricate parts according to drawings.
Operate and handle tools and machinery safely.
Perform quality checks on current and previous operations.
Follow safety and quality procedures as per company policies.
Other duties as assigned by the manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
2-4 years of welding experience (MIG and Flux Core).
Proficient with oxy-acetylene torch and plasma cutting.
Experience with hand and power tools.
Good working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.
Strong attention to detail and excellent safety record.
Industrial experience is an asset.
