2025 Ernst and Young (EY) Technology Risk Graduate Programme.

Technology Risk is considered a ‘Hybrid’ Service Line, which provides work under assurance and consulting roles. Tech Risk supports the external audits of a variety of clients from private businesses to the world’s largest organisations – giving confidence to investors, governments and workers in the strength of businesses. In addition, Tech Risk provides programme assurance over some of the most complex and revolutionary digital transformations ever undertaken. Our professionals advise on and provide assurance over the latest trends in emerging technologies (artificial intelligence, robotic process automation, cloud computing, cryptocurrency). Lastly, we help clients manage their sensitive data and navigate privacy legislation.

The Ernst and Young (EY) Technology Risk Graduate Program is a comprehensive and dynamic initiative designed to equip recent graduates with the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate the complexities of technology risk in today’s rapidly evolving business environment. This program is part of EY’s broader commitment to developing future leaders in the field of technology risk management, offering participants a unique blend of hands-on experience, professional development, and mentorship.

Participants in the EY Technology Risk Graduate Program are immersed in a rigorous training curriculum that covers a wide range of topics, including information security, data privacy, IT governance, and risk assessment methodologies. This foundational knowledge is essential for understanding the various dimensions of technology risk and the impact these risks can have on an organization’s operations and strategic objectives. The program emphasizes practical learning, with graduates working on real-world projects and case studies that simulate the challenges faced by businesses in managing technology risks.

One of the key features of the EY Technology Risk Graduate Program is its rotational structure. Participants rotate through different service lines and industry sectors, gaining exposure to diverse business environments and risk scenarios. This rotational approach helps graduates develop a well-rounded perspective on technology risk, enabling them to understand how different industries and companies address their unique risk challenges. It also allows participants to build a broad network of contacts within EY and across the industry.

Mentorship and coaching are integral components of the EY Technology Risk Graduate Program. Each participant is paired with an experienced mentor who provides guidance, support, and feedback throughout the program. This mentorship relationship helps graduates navigate their career paths, develop their professional skills, and build confidence in their abilities. Additionally, the program includes regular performance reviews and feedback sessions, ensuring that participants receive continuous support and development opportunities.

The EY Technology Risk Graduate Program also places a strong emphasis on innovation and staying ahead of emerging trends in technology and risk management. Graduates are encouraged to engage with the latest advancements in technology, such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and cybersecurity, and to explore how these technologies can be leveraged to mitigate risks and create value for clients. This forward-thinking approach ensures that participants are well-prepared to address the evolving landscape of technology risk.
