2025/2027 Funded ISPA Netherland Fellowship Programme for Mid Career Performing Arts Leaders.

The ISPA Netherlands Fellowship Program is a prestigious initiative aimed at empowering emerging arts leaders from developing countries through professional development opportunities and international networking. Sponsored by the International Society for the Performing Arts (ISPA) in collaboration with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the fellowship program provides selected participants with access to valuable resources, mentorship, and training to enhance their leadership skills and advance their careers in the performing arts sector.

The fellowship program is open to mid-career professionals working in the performing arts, including arts administrators, cultural managers, producers, and artistic directors, among others. Participants are typically selected based on their demonstrated commitment to the performing arts, leadership potential, and potential to make a positive impact in their home countries’ arts and culture sectors.

Selected fellows receive a range of benefits, including financial support to attend the ISPA Congress, an annual gathering of performing arts professionals from around the world. The ISPA Congress provides fellows with opportunities to engage in discussions, workshops, and networking events focused on key issues and trends in the performing arts industry. Fellows also have the chance to connect with leading practitioners, policymakers, funders, and artists, gaining insights and perspectives that can inform their work and future initiatives.

In addition to attending the ISPA Congress, fellows participate in a tailored professional development program designed to enhance their leadership skills, expand their networks, and strengthen their capacity to drive positive change in their home countries’ arts sectors. This may include workshops, seminars, site visits, and mentorship opportunities with experienced arts professionals and leaders.

The ISPA Netherlands Fellowship Program fosters collaboration and knowledge exchange among participants, creating a supportive community of emerging arts leaders from diverse backgrounds and regions. Fellows have the opportunity to share their experiences, learn from each other’s perspectives, and collaborate on joint projects and initiatives that promote cross-cultural understanding and artistic exchange.

The ISPA Netherlands Fellowship Program is a transformative opportunity for emerging arts leaders from developing countries to gain valuable skills, insights, and networks that can advance their careers and contribute to the growth and vitality of the global performing arts sector. By investing in the professional development of talented individuals, the program helps to foster a more diverse, inclusive, and dynamic arts ecosystem worldwide.

ISPA’s Fellowship Program was created to provide emerging and mid-career performing arts professionals with the opportunity to expand their international networks through membership and attendance at ISPA Congresses. The Fellows represent all disciplines, genres, and types of arts organizations.
