The Vital Voices Visionaries program, in collaboration with the Estée Lauder Emerging Leaders Fund (ELELF), the philanthropic arm of Estée Lauder, aims to empower the next generation of emerging leaders who are reshaping the landscape of leadership in various spheres of life.
This initiative invests in pioneering women by enhancing their access to leadership development opportunities and the supportive networks crucial for their advancement. In partnership with the Estée Lauder Emerging Leaders Fund, the VV Visionaries program is dedicated to championing women leaders from diverse backgrounds, industries, and experiences, fostering their ability to effect positive social change within their communities and beyond.
Over the course of seven weeks, three cohorts of 50 women visionaries aged 18 and above will engage in an immersive virtual experience. Drawing on the esteemed leadership framework of Vital Voices, the program will integrate insights from Estée Lauder executives and leaders within the Vital Voices Global Network.
Participants across all three cohorts will have the opportunity to be selected for an annual in-person gathering, offering deeper training and investment to further enrich their personal leadership journeys.
The Vital Voices Visionaries Program is a transformative initiative designed to empower emerging women leaders worldwide by providing them with the essential skills, resources, and networks to drive positive change in their communities and beyond.
Through a rigorous selection process, the program identifies promising women leaders who have demonstrated commitment, resilience, and innovative thinking in addressing critical social, economic, and political challenges. Once selected, participants engage in a comprehensive leadership development curriculum that covers various aspects of leadership, including strategic planning, advocacy, communication, and coalition-building.
The program offers a blend of virtual and in-person training sessions, mentorship opportunities, and networking events, allowing participants to learn from experienced leaders and connect with like-minded individuals from diverse backgrounds and sectors.
By equipping women leaders with the tools and support they need to amplify their impact, the Vital Voices Visionaries Program aims to foster a global community of empowered leaders who are driving meaningful change and creating a more equitable and just world for all.

Requirements For The Vital Voices Visionaries Program
Applicant:
- Is at least 18 years old at the time of application and identifies as a woman
- Has an established social impact organization, business, initiative, OR?
- Is a key decision-maker of their social impact organization, business, initiative, OR?
- Has a clear vision for an organization, business, or initiative with an explicit social purpose
- Is proficient in English
Selection Process
Program Commitment
- Fully participate in the 7-week program, which includes 2-4 hours per week of live virtual sessions and weekly assignments. Participants should have no more than 2 absences to remain in good standing.
- Sessions are typically held on weekdays in the morning (Eastern Time).
- Submit regular updates to Vital Voices throughout the program and remain in contact with Vital Voices after the program to share success stories, conduct follow-up surveys about your progress, pursue further opportunities for awards or visibility, etc.
Technical Requirements and Accessibility:
- The VV Visionaries program will be virtual. You will need access to a computer with a camera or a phone and a reliable internet or network connection to fully participate in the program.
